This is a new grooved ring mandrel. An essential tool for the jeweler, goldsmith, silversmith and metal worker. This ring stick heavy duty aluminum sizer can be used to determine the size of rings. Recessed groove accommodates protruding culet in stone set rings and prevents stone chipping. Has sizes 1 to 15 in 1/4 size increments. It measures approximately 10" long.

Not only is the Ring Mandrel a must have tool for jewelers, but I find that it comes in handy for helping me to get the perfectly sized ring for those special occasions. Made of cast aluminum, this grooved mandrel measures ring sizes 1-15 in 1/4 increments and will last for years. For the gentlemen, be the smart one and save those useless "find the size" trips to the jeweler for purchases only. It will be a worthwhile investment for years to come.

The ring stick is very useful for me. I have lots of rings and now I know what size the rings are that fit me best.

I wouldn't get this if you want to change a ring size on it (use it as a hammering stick), but it's great to measuring an existing ring. Nice product. i like it a lot
