Quick, easy, and highly effective on silver November 23, 2008 I inherited a pair of ornate antique sterling candlesticks from my mother-in-law and had them professionally polished by a silversmith because they were totally black with thick tarnish after years of exposure and disuse. They came back gleaming like new, and ever since I've used these superb cloths every few months to bring them back to that professional sparkle. This is the easiest and most effective polishing method I've ever used - no gunky paste getting stuck inside the pattern-work...just a quick going over with the polish-imbued cloth, and then buffing with the included cloth or your own. I've found that both soft paper towels or lint-free kitchen towels work equally well. I've just finished polishing the candlesticks and my mother's 60-year old set of silverplate flatware in time for Thanksgiving, and continue to be delighted with the ease of use and the results.
Ok-Didn't live up to my high expectations December 7, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this product on a cartier stainless steel watch and after reading a review. I thought it would do the trick and remove surface scratches on the band and face. The product helped slightly but the scratches remain. Since my watch is in really good shape, I was hoping to avoid the $300 cleaning charge by Cartier. While the product didn't live up to my high expectations, I am sure it will work for many of you. This was my first time trying to polish metal, and I believe I expected too much from a simple cost effective cleaning cloth.
Great stuff! October 3, 2007 Shines and buffs your silver jewerly to almost new. Smells like vanilla which is pleasing. Clothes can be reused so 12 should last a long time. The actually can is very pretty. Overall I'm very pleased.
Great product, good price August 21, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Good price for the very special item. The can alone is worth at least five bucks and the average for one cloth is smaller than anywhere else on the net.
