| Customer Reviews:
You get what you pay for! November 11, 2008 If you buy inexpensive plated headpins, they are most probably going to arrive bent. This is because the plating process involves them going through a tumbler! Sterling Silver headpins arrive straight because they have not been tumbled. But of course, they are more expensive. Plated headpins are a perfectly fine inexpensive option for someone who knows at least little basic wire loop wrapping.
The thing is, that most people who buy headpins are planning to bend them up right away anyway. And most people who work with wire know about using nylon jaw pliers to straighten, and hammers and blocks to harden. If you think your headpins are not holding their shape once you've bent/straightened them and loaded them with beads, you're probably using headpins that are not a thick enough gauge for your particular project, and/or you should have hardened the wire before use.
Not as it looks like in the picture May 13, 2008 This was nicely packed, but all 50 was not straight. Some were a bit bent, others were worse. It is easily breakable and bendable, so don't use this thinking it'll stay in that shape. The price for this quality was okay, though. I recommend other items from this seller, just not their head pins.
