I'll admit that I don't actually own this item, but claiming that surgical steel is "Hypo-allergenic" is vastly misleading. Surgical steel contains significant quantities of nickel, which is one of the most common metals in jewelery to which people have reactions. Earrings made with these findings will still cause many people to react badly. Be careful about what you consider "Hypo-allergenic"!
